Social Media Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with clients and colleagues to create a social media strategy that collaborates with

marketing, PR and advertising campaigns, research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients’ industries.

• Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience.

• Monitor sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of the client.

• Be happy, smile, and bring a positive attitude to the office

• Bring latest collaterals, devices, games, tools to the office to share and enjoy!

• Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.

• Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand (Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc).

• Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.

• Continue to refine and define our social marketing process.

• Work with teams to create a solid branding message that’s reflected across all Mirage Digital marketing materials, social media content and shared by employees

• Clientele industries include: Sports, Fitness, Lifestyle, Construction, Health, Government

• Available to attend events we sponsor on a monthly basis (usually no more than 1-2) on behalf of Mirage Digital outside of standard hours

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of social media marketing experience (prefer to have account management experience).

• Experience including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Google Communities, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Pinterest, and more.

• Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Raven Tools, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).

• Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.

• Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic.

• Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Exceptional time management skills including the ability to handle multiple clients with changing priorities and multiple projects.

• Bachelors Degree in relevant field, either media, marketing or Business.

Receptionist / Administrator
(English & Arabic Speaking)

• Undertake Reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.
• Provide general clerical/admin support e.g. photocopying, filing, complete standard forms.

– High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Media Sales Executive

Doha, Qatar

The Media Sales Executive is expected to maximize revenue streams from new clients through proactive sales activities, such as cold calling, new meetings and opening doors for new prospects and business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build strong face to face relationships with key contacts at all levels from a prescribed set of organisations and industries, maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone, meetings.
• Creating and maintaining prospect lists/data/source of information and attending industry events to create new business opportunities.
• Keeping up to date with current affairs/media news/updates across all industries in the region and globally.
• Develop a strong understanding of Mirage Digital and other media agencies/competitors/industry associations/partners/PR agencies
• Adapt and create sales presentations & proposals to each client and industry opportunity to achieve set objectives, kpi’s while increasing market share.
• Generate new revenue streams in both traditional and digital platforms,
• Achieve sales targets set by the General Manager considering not only revenue but also yield / customer service /client retention / new leads /
• Working with the sales team and the General Manager to devise sales strategies to ensure upsell and cross sell opportunities
• Proactive sales prospecting and lead generation i.e cold calling and meetings as agreed by the General Manager
• Reporting and forecasting accurately on productivity and pipeline at weekly sales meetings.
• Manage and ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved and regularly manage own Personal Development Plans for further training & support.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 2 yrs plus sales experience ideally in media /marketing / advertising /agency industry
• Intelligent sales person, with excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels with good written skills
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated & Driven
• Positive can do attitude with the team and clients
• Ability to work under pressure & show attention to detail
• Generate new sales lead – cold calling & meetings
• Work with CRM / online portals to manage pipeline and client database
• English & Arabic proficient
